CODE | PC Tracker w/ Automated Script
hello my sweet fellow murdergame nerds are you like me and bad at reporting your pcs on time because it's a whole struggle. i have come to bring you a present.
🥳 PC TRACKING SPREADSHEET + AUTO GENERATED SCRIPT FOR EASY REPORTING!! 🥳
modified from yuff's awesome AC tracker from recolle and also kimmeh's ac tracking spreadsheet !
HERE'S HOW YOU DO IT
1. Click THIS LINK to make a force copy of my spreadsheet. You can tweak what you want including colors but columns A, B, C, D are what will be generated into your html so don't change the order! unless you want more trouble for yourself but i don't know your life.

2. Fill in your info.
**** NEW FOR 2024 eric is a genius: I added a note to the "REPORTED" header: I highly recommend linking the PC reporting page from the game you're in to this cell. The note has directions on how to do it - once you've linked the pc reporting page, you may want to delete the note so you don't end up recopying it all the time, and so you get the linked one each time you recreate a sheet. c:
3. Go to Extensions -> AppsScript. Google needs to stop changing things on me. This may take a second to load, so be patient with it.
4. In the box that says "Code.gs", select all and replace with this code. Where it says "YOUR GOOGLE SHEET ID GOES HERE", you're going to replace that with the google sheet ID from your tracker.
That's this thing here in the URL bar, between the /d/ and /edit.
5. Then click on the tab that says "pcs.html". Just in case the code isn't the same from force copying (bc i dont know how anything in script editor actually works): replace whatever code is in there with this pastebin
Make sure you hit the SAVE ICON afterwards.
6. Press the big blue deploy button and hit "New deployment" and then hit "Deploy".
**** The first time you run it it's going to ask for permission! Click "Authorize access"
After you sign in its going to yell at you with this screen. (It will say your email as the developer btw, not mine.) Click "Advanced".
wow a tiny link appears.
And then you get the normal allow permission thing to pop up. Make sure you allow permissions.
7. Then this screen pops up! Click the link under "Web App."
and voila! You may want to go in and add linebreaks for your mods sanity but idk how to generate that out of the code so this is what you get from me.
IMPORTANT!!!
You need to make a new tab for each week, and that tab has to be in ASCENDING ORDER. (So the most recent week should be first.)
1. Click on your current tab and click "duplicate"
2. Rename the tab "Copy of Week (x)" to whatever week it is.
3. Move that tab in front of the other one.
The code will run WHICHEVER TAB IS FIRST so make sure you're aware of that.
Repeat for however long we're in mg for.
