You? Not held in high esteem for your martial prowess? I am stunned. [ lololol
anyway, ]
I see, I see. It's not all that different from home, really - you're exactly right. His Royal Majesty is not one for swinging a sword - both the metaphorical sword of the country and one in his own hand. I do both. Ortus was your marshal, yes? I think.
That being said... It makes that card Molly chose quite emblematic. Good at that, isn't he? [ "flesh/bone" and all of that. he's picking up the gist. ]
And I see nothing unfortunate about that at all. Great sword-wielders think alike, if you will [ wehehe ] What's she like? Besides a riot at parties, it sounds like.

No. My marshal Crux oversaw the household and the guard; cavalier is a different position.
[Anyway, she pauses for a long minute.]
I don't really know how he did it, seeing as none of what he does with the cards is real or based on any particular power or ability besides the social, or anything at all. "One flesh, one end" is the oath a cavalier makes when swearing to a necromancer.
So yes, very apt.
Griddle is very stubborn and frankly quite stupid. She says a lot of nonsense and her jokes are bad. This is why I feel you may be able to communicate with one another.
also, that gets him to smile a little at his phone, gross. stan molly club ]
I think the social ability is how, really. Something the two of us could never dream to be able to master. Mine was less poetic, but - quite the understanding, all the same.
Ha! I like her already. Good sense of humor, good head on her shoulders, excellent with a big sword. My type of person. Why Griddle? Have you give her a pet name? That's charming. [ its the absolute job of a pseudo adopted big brother to tease their sibling's crush actually ]
Well. You've traveled all the way to a different realm for at least one, you're attempting complicated surgery of the soul and mind for another, and I think you could even be messaging one! Hahaha Griddle's a very cute name. Does she have one for you in return.
Oh - well, well! I've only known of you up to this point, so - A pleasure to truly make your acquaintance. This is a pleasant surprise! I was hoping to get to speak with you in person, first.
Can you believe she left me on read? I imagine you can.
Yeah, because you weren't in bones range. That's the secret.
Anyway, I didn't read all that because I saw the word theorems a lot and a picture of a flesh jar so I wasn't really into it? But it's good to finally get to talk to you.
Sort of sorry for using your sword to kill a few wolves. Sort of, in the way that I imagine it's got a ceremonial purpose, but we did need to be protected. That is a truly excellent weapon of yours, by the way. If all of this works out, I'd love to spar with you sometime.
It doesn't have any ceremonial purpose, it's just for being a sword. Harrow doesn't know anything about swords so she made up weird rules for it like washing it in blood but also didn't know you have to sharpen them and putting blood and bone gunk all over a sword all the time without cleaning it will fuck it up and now it's a whole mess. Killing those wolves with it was the least gross possible use of my sword, so thank you.
Sparring sounds fun. When I get my body back and I don't have to use Harrow's noodle arms.
[ please know he's just laying somewhere responding to these and cackle laughing ]
She didn't know you had to sharpen it? Well, I guess that's not surprising - I don't know anything about bone magic, it's only fair. If you're reading this over later, Harrow, I told you hand to hand combat would be useful! I could've told you all of this!
I'm glad to hear it, though, Gideon. It sounds like you all are on the right path to getting it back quickly, so I'm looking forward to it. I do think she missed you. Pet names and all.
Ah. Well! There's something to be said to being in that sort of situation. But at least in my case, the two of us had quite a few things in common. Good and bad. People say I have a bad personality too, you know! (Not that I think that's true, of course.)
Now I have to know. Did you hear Molly's joke, about catching killers red handed.
[She's just going to ignore this because it's sweet Gu Yun is trying to defend Harrow but it just means they need to level up this friendship so they can both shittalk Harrow instead, the better way.]
The solution is exposure therapy, clearly! I think between yourself, myself, and Molly, we may yet have a chance. Admittedly, I don't tell much about my plans either, and when I do, I am reminded that they are stupid plans. Hahaha. In my defense, I knew it was a stupid plan, and that didn't stop me from doing it.

It is a pet name, yes. The way someone might be inclined to name a very stupid puppy someone left on your doorstep to piss on your floors.

I don't call her pet names. Unless it's like, evil bitch who crawled out of the deepest depths of hell just to torment me. Bitch for short?

I see.
How does she torment you, exactly?

Bones, mainly. Generally speaking, lots of bone themed torments.

[This isn't a relationship where one party is okay with mushy stuff and the other isn't they both hate it.]
Molly is cool! Honestly it's so weird to me how both you guys became friends with Harrow because her personality is so bad.
