and then makes a little noise of recognition, an 'aha!' ] Shizun's observation are second to none.

[ effusive with the praise for his shizun as always, binghe then goes to fetch the plant! he pulls out his sword to cut it down, even, and it lands harmlessly on the ground between them. ]

It seems reminiscent of a plant from lands far from here. Used more as festive decoration than anything insidious. What it is doing here however, is a truly fascinating question.
